3,120 Diapers

Love Means ...
Love means so much more these days. It means learning that MTV still plays music videos but only between 2am and 8am. It means a round of applause after a good solid burp. It means not caring when the spit up runs down your chest, fills your bra cup and empties into your belly button.

Parents Magazine says that you will change approximately 3,120 diapers during a baby's first year. According to Serena, we will change approximately 6,205 of those little white gifts filled with poo as we currently average 17 diapers per day. Yes, love means so much more these days.

Four Weeks
Serena is now four weeks old and we cannot believe how fast she has grown! She is now 8lbs 7oz and has the cutest little cheeks that a little girl could have. Her eyes are beginning to change color ... maybe she'll have brown eyes or perhaps they'll be green. She holds her head up more and more each day and her legs are so strong that Kevin thinks she'll start walking soon ; )

Serena is looking forward to Auntie Ashley and Uncle Ryan's wedding in just a few weeks. We are still looking for a perfect dress for her first social event. I, on the other hand, am just looking for a dress that fits the milk machine that I have become. Surprisingly, my feet that had swollen so much during pregnancy quickly regained their pre-baby figure ... so, at least I will have great shoes!
