Summertime In Duluth

Serena and Kendall have spent much of their summer together in Duluth visiting Grandma DeeDee, Grandpa Phil and Uncle Alex. Kendall is especially lucky to have also spent time visiting her Aunt Liz, Uncle Jamie and Cousins (Shout Out to Laine, Landon and Mason!) in Moose Lake or Grandma Patrice and Gary in Cloquet. It is so nice to have many of our family members only a short drive away.

This weekend, we took the girls down to Canal Park for some sightseeing. We just missed seeing a "1,000 Footer" leave the harbor, but enjoyed the people watching and tourists that lingered after its departure.

We went for a long walk along the canal, watched all of the seagulls and enjoyed lunch at one of our favorite restaurants. Next summer, we will be sure to show the girls how to skip rocks along the shores of Lake Superior!
