Serena's First Visit to Florida

While I had to work in Miami for a few days last week, Serena stayed in Naples, FL and visited with Grandma Sue and Grandpa Kevin. We did not get to see each other over the holidays, so it was a great opportunity for them to get some babysitting time logged in for 2010!

After returning from Miami, it was clear that Grandma and Grandpa were suddenly not feeling well. So, we tried to avoid illness by taking Serena for her first dip in the (chilly) pool and for a walk on the beach to see the ocean.

The next day, both Kevin and I took our turn being sick and made lots of Snow Bird friends at the NCH Hospital. We returned home to snowy Minnesota thankful for our some-what regained health and that Serena had avoided it all!
